We offer scans of the highest detail and colour fidelity, suitable for printing or display. We can scan any negative or transparency film from 35mm to 11x14’ at up to 5,400 dpi resolution, or any print up to 305 x 432 mm (above A3) at the same quality.

High resolution is combined with exceptionally smooth tonal information and dynamic range, with our scanners capable of up to 4.5 DMax. This resolves tonality in the darkest blacks and brightest whites, bringing out every last piece of information in the original.

Our primary scanner is a Kodak Eversmart Supreme II, an excellent choice for most applications. We also regularly use a Heidelberg Nexscan F4100 and an Imacon X5.

For prints and flat artwork larger than our scanners, we operate a custom Phase One reproduction system. Like all our equipment, this is regularly colour profiled to produce extremely faithful results with great scope for editing if needed.

These machines, combined with our extensive industry experience, means we can extract the very best from film and prints.
